interview

I had an interview with Mr. Dunham.
I ask him “Why did you come to Japan?” His answer is “For a wife.” I am envious of his wife, because through the interview, I feel big love for her from him. He said he isn’t interested in Japanese culture. Then, I think “It’s strange.” But in the moment, I can understand what that mean. He falls in love with his wife in America, and married. He go back his country once a year, But it is for work. So he can’t met his family, I ask him “Do you want to meet your family?” He said “Of course”, He has been in Japan over 20 years. His favorite food is Okonomiyaki, But he said “My favorite food is changing day by day.” His first impression of visited Japan is “HOT!!” He is from California. His hometown is good temperature and so on for living.

★Manners in train★

★Result★
I asked 9 students and a teacher about manners in train to know their thinking.
Almost people’s answer is “Don’t mind those questions.” Peoples are not interested in other people. All people answer “I pass if there’s a priority seating”. I asked people “How to pass the seat?” Almost people answer “Please (sit down here)” Some people answer “Nothing to say, just move other vehicles” Other said “I get off soon. So please sit down here.”

★Comments★
I was surprised this result.
Before I do this survey, I thought most of the people would chose “No” because train isn’t house, it is a public place. So many people use it. At first, the manners are very sternon train. For example, there is poster which warns people not to do those, and conductor said
“Please turn off your cell phone”. But now, conductor said “Please turn off your cell phone near the special seat.” In other words that said “You can turn on your cell phone and use internet and e-mail in general seat.
This changing announce mean “Train’s manner became liberalize” Train side give up to stop warn too hard.
To everyone use feeling good, manner is necessary. So, I want to train side keep people under strict control.
